T-Shirt Quilt Class Turn your favorite memories into a cozy keepsake! Join us for a two-part T-Shirt Quilt Class designed to walk you step-by-step through creating your very own quilt from shirts you love. This class is perfect for beginners and experienced sewists alike—whether you're preserving concert tees, sports jerseys, school shirts, or special event memories. Session 1: Info Night & Prep Work (12/9 at 10:30 am OR 5:30 PM) This first class is information only. We’ll cover: How to choose the best shirts Stabilizers and tools you’ll need Layout and design options How to prepare your shirts at home You’ll receive “homework” to prep your T-shirts before the next session. No sewing machine needed for this class. Session 2: Cutting & Assembly Day (Tuesday, 12/30 at 10:30 OR Saturday, 1/3 at 10:30) A few weeks later, you’ll return with your prepared shirts. During this hands-on workshop, we’ll walk you through: Cutting your T-shirt blocks Adding stabilizer Planning your layout Assembling the quilt top By the end of this session, you’ll be well on your way to completing a beautiful, personalized T-shirt quilt. What to Bring A selection of clean T-shirts (we’ll discuss quantities in Session 1) Sewing machine (for Session 2) Basic sewing notions Stabilizer (options reviewed in Session 1) Perfect For: Memory quilts, graduation gifts, sports quilts, and anyone looking to learn a new quilting skill in a low-stress, supportive environment.
